MASON COUNTY APPLE FEST

Purpose Statement

Purpose:  1.  To raise funds for Mason Schools

2.      To draw visitors to Mason County for the benefit of the entire community

3.      To provide a quality family vacation destination

4.      To have FUN

Theme :  Everything Apples

Date:  Saturday, September 4, 2010

Location:  The Courthouse lawn, on the Square in historic Mason, Texas

Sequence:  First Annual Labor Day Weekend Festival

                   Resulting from family fun in Mason’s 25 year apple orchard

Organizer:  Mason County Apple Fest

Arts & Crafts:  Apple Theme with complimentary products

Food:  At the Apple Fest and on the Square

Contests, Shows, and Demonstrations:  For children and adults

 Tax Exemption:  The IRS has approved our application to be a 501(c)(3) organization.  This allows contributions and deductions to be treated as an income tax deduction
